Good, I see most of you know why you wouldn' t want it. Yes, some people would be offended and I think that is why they save it for cablle, but those of you who brought up how it is no big deal in other countries have a good point too, it is a cultural thing.

Let's see: I can see somebody brutally murdered, I can see a dismembered corpse, I can watch any kind of surgery, but, I can't see a woman's nipple though the rest of her breast is exposed, I can't see a bare butt, but she can wear a thong, and I can see simulated sex as long as nobody's genitals are exposed.
Hmmmm. No, no there shouldn't be nudity on television because the children might see it and know that it's truly evil for people to look at the naked human body in any context!

I can't say yes or no. I do think our country is very sexually repressed when it comes to what they're afraid to show on TV. But what do you expect when someone tries to show the slightest of skin and has a bunch of religious nuts jumping their case.
Personally I'm tired of 1 person or a small group of people thinking they know what's best for the rest of us. If you don't like what you see on TV, change the channel or turn it off.

Why not?

There is nothing obscene about the human form.

The human form is pure and natural.

It's the stigma assigned to it by unnatural religions that cause us to revile rather than embrace our bodies.

It's kind of like human breast milk. Most people would be repulsed by the thought of drinking it but the thought of drinking breast milk from an animal doesn't seem to phase us at all.

For all our intelligence we really are a messed up creature.

I really don't think so because lots of little kids watch TV and are too young to be exposed to porno. Another reason is because if the nude people look really good, that just sends a bad idea of body image to lots of minds. Especially for some women.

NO. These shows are for "general public" viewing and should be kept cleaner than those on Cable stations!

I WANT TO WATCH A FUN, DRAMATIC SHOW- NOT A PORN SCENE.

Do you want your elementary school children seeing naked people while you are cleaning the kitchen, thinking they are watching Blue's Clues?
