does anyone know where a UKer could go about looking for Sonic Youth's EPs on their SYR label?

Yes, on amazon they sell everything you could think of as far as Sonic Youth is concerned. They even sell used stuff if you don't want to pay a lot of money for some good music. They also have an auction-type website, like ebay if you want to bid on stuff instead. Good luck in your search!
