Texas does not need another hockey team. I cant even justify 2 teams in Florida, let alone Texas! If a team (obviously we're talking about the Pens probably) is going to move, I would say move it to a northern snow belt state/city. I'd say Canada, but I still dont think most Canadian cities (outside the ones that already have a team) can support it economically. The cap is around $44 million US, still to high for a small Canadian city to support

It is hard to tell. Usually the southern USA markets are good at first but then have only 10,000 or less fans that go to the game. It is hard to compete with Nascar, NFL, Baseball, Rodeo and wrestling down there.
I hope for his sake they get a team but feel that Hamilton, Kitchener/Waterloo, Quebec City Winnipeg should get a team 1st. Put it in a lottery and whoever sells the most season tickets wins.
A question for Ilpinman. Does Melrose still have the mullet from when he(she) coached the Kings?

well if i had the money i would do it to but being from pittsburgh i will tell you one team he isnt going to get thats the pittsburgh penguins
