well Nortan Anti-virus is a licensed software, which has its own unique product key that is used for installation. As this is a licensed software, you are not able to get it for free, and shall have to purchase it. How ever, there are some Internet sites that allow you to have a free thirty day trial.

I do not advise to you to use Norton antivirus. there are more programs that are better than Norton. Kaspersky, Avg, Bitdefender...etc

using Norton and Free in the same sentence is like mixing oil and milk.
i personally like Comodo, but you have to be somewhat savvy to use it, if you like the easy to use GUI, try AVG.. it's free
