How do I make a Messy bun?

How do I make a messy bun? I always wear ballet buns and i want to spice things up. Wearin it high or low....what are the steps in achievng this style?

what i do is
1. make a ponytail with (no elastic yet)
2. have the elastic on ur right wrist
3. hold ur ponytail with ur right hand
4. using ur left hand to pull the elastic, start to like tie the ponytail but only pull it a little ways through
5. twist the elastic once
6. pull the elastic aroung the "bun" again
7. if u have a really big elastic than u might have to do steps 5 and 6 one more time

thats it!!

it takes some practice, but once u get it, its super easy and u can do it in seconds with out even thinking about it!

you pull up your hair as if you are going to put it into a pony tail. pull your hair all the way through the elastic the first time. The second time, pull half of your hair through the elastic, kind of like youre going to put it in a bun, but dont pull it all the way through. turn the elastic and put it around the pun, pulling along with you the extra hair that wasnt pulled all the way through on the second step.

2. Then jump up and down 5 times or more
3. Then its should be MESSY

Put your hair in a high bun, then shake the bun a little with your hand. Just dont do it too much or it will look trashy.

put your hair in a pony tail then just mess it up and twist it around itself, but like i said make sure its MESSY not neat like a ballet bun, then just put aother elastic on it.


you might need some bobbies to keep it in place if you have thick hair
