Been there, done that. For a partial tear the best thing is to practice RICE (rest, ice, compress, elevate) and as much non-weight bearing as possible for 2-4 weeks until you are not swollen and pain free. After 2 weeks start doing ROM exercises and slowly add some strengthening exercises. I will link you to a few good ones. Good luck

If its a partial tear don't try and speed it up or you will be on a fast track to a slow recovery from surgery when it completely tears.

keep it imobilzed for the first 4 weeks, no weight bearing and ice as much as possible.

My mother tore her mcl in her knee. She went to physical therspy and they tought her some excersises to do to help it. You can just go a few times until u learn them and practice at home when watching tv or in your spair time.

my husband tore his ACL in his knee they had him going to physical therapy 3 times a week, then we got in a car wreck and it got tore completly an d he needed surgery. but now 2 years after surgery he can do all of the stuff he did before it got hurt.

maybe get into physical therapy or ask an ortho doc what you can do.
