Heisse Doktor, heisse Magistar gar, und ziehe schon die zehen Jahr meine Schueler an der Nase herum und sehe doch das wir nichts wissen koennen (I'm a doctor, Magistrate even and for tens of years I've been pulling my students around by their noses and know we can't know anything) - Dr. Faust from Goethe.

Oh, yeah. We know stuff. But mostly it's all trivial matters. Like, a dog is not a cat. The stuff we don't know is the stuff we ought to know, like why is the dog not a cat? Why would both species be here in the first place? Why did we call the dog a dog instead of a monkey or something?
But in answer to your query, yes. We know things.

Sometimes I know something. Then again, sometimes I don't know. What I do know is that I don't always know. You know? Then again, when I think I know it proves to be that I don't know. I just didn't know it at that time. But now I know.

Does that mean I know I don't know?

I know that you just asked a question. Beyond that, who can say?
