BabiesRUs, Target, Kohl's...but remember that cute bags and ugly bags both end up with dried milk, cheerios, and fruit roll-ups stuck to them. Whatever you get, make sure you can clean it easily and often!

I wouldn't recommend a traditional diaper bag... they are over priced, and don't last very long. I bought a Graco diaper bag, and the inner liner ripped away within the first few uses.
Backpacks (nothing to big or complex) work quite well, and they're inexpensive. My sister uses a luggage carry on bag.... they are very durable, reasonably priced, not too deep so it's easy to access the inside.
If you use bottles, or plan to... make sure the bottles you will be using will fit into the bottle area. I use Playtex Nursers (which I love), but they are too tall and wide to fit nicely in my diaper bag.

By far the BEST diaper bag I have tried is from LL BEAN - it is strong - lasts and wasn't expensive - under $30--- I think it's actually listed in bags & luggage now although it used to be listed specifically as a diaper bag - It has space inside and an outside mesh pocket that is great for holding bottles - I have the large size.. it has help up even when stuffed as full as I could get it - and it's compact enough to carry everywhere unstuffed! The side pockets are great too - has room for everything - I can't recommend it enough! You can even add name or monogram
here's the link :

I went through four bags at all prce ranges before I found this one - By far I grab it every time now!! Trust me I have tried a lot of diaper bags!!!

Target has some nice, great quality diaper bags. Plan to spend at least $25. I wouldn't spend any less because then the diaper is likely to fall apart and not last long. I bought one from target and I love it. I saw another one the other day that I like, I plan to buy it next month. I like their diaper bags, they are roomy, trendy and last forever.

Walmart has cute baby bags. They run about 12-20 dollars. Check them out. I think you will like them and they are not that expensive.

in my opinion, i like merely going thrift-scrounging and that i chanced on THE AWESOMEST bag. that is a small-ish bag, type of funky with "jacks" on it and lined in vinyl. that is probable a tote bag yet i exploit it as a diaper/handbag/tote/bag component. Any bag that you want to apply is a sturdy diaper bag. And as a familiar rule, the "diaper" bags disintegrate really instantly. i do not learn about the Vera Bradley type, and how strong that is, notwithstanding the honestly diaper bags i have used merely went to crap interior of a few weeks.

I highly recommend using a back pack. They are way less expensive, have lots of pockets, easy to wash, and Dad's don't mind carrying them
Also, I got a nice one with a changing pad FREE from Nestle for signing up for their baby program. I also got FREE formula and bottle samples from them. Check out their website. They did not arrive until my son was three month old so you might want to enter your childs birthday as being a little earlier.
