Anime/ Manga Lovers?

Question

I just started my anime craze thanks to an awesome friend of mine and I have few questions: What is the best manga series you've read? What's your favorite anime to watch? And what are some really awesome series you recommend to me, a beginner? (So far I've read Hot Gimmick, Merupuri, Tokyo Boys & Girls, & Mars--Mars was my fav. And I love Sailor Moon & Ouran High School Host Club!!) Thanks a lot! And please provide links if you please! ^^

The best manga series would be The Wallflower, or Hana-Kimi (in my opinion). My all time favorite anime would be Gundam SEED/Destiny, and Trinity Blood plus my current favorites are Death Note and D.Gray-Man. You should watch the Final Fantasy VII Advent Children movie first if you haven't got a chance to. Also you might want to watch La Corda d'Oro, Fruits Basket the anime.

I absolutely love Angelic Layer, it's really cute and it is inspiring. It's about this girl named Misaki who moves to Tokyo, and discovers a game called Angelic Layer. The game is all about these dolls called angels that you can control, and you make them fight each other. Misaki's angel's name is Hikaru and she is so cute, the whole story is them battling to win a tournament of Angelic Layer. I love it because her strength and perserverance is so amazing, and she never gives up. It's a Clamp manga, and it's very clean, that's another reason why I like it *_*

Neon Genesis Evangelion, Samurai X, Ghost In the Shell - Stand Alone Complex, Cardcaptor Sakura, Fullmetal Alchemist are all pretty badass.

well start of with well know anime like naruto or bleach, then try buying shonen jump. they have a largre amount of manga that many people like.
