Greed is neither good or bad. Greed is a human motivator. It can be used for good or for bad.

Through greed capitalist are able to create industries which offer jobs to many people. Through greed he will capture market share through better quality and lower costs. Through greed he will get and maintain the best employees and he will purchase their loyalty.

Through greed they imagine they are the victims of economic exploitation. They will use any means at their disposal to destroy those who stand in their way. They will wage war against those they perceive as greedier than they. Because of greed politicians seek power and wealth. Because of greed we have war.

GREED IS SOME SORT OF WEAPON!

No weapon by itself, can be good or bad!

One can use any type of weapon for his/ her own socital/ group welfare!

For example, seeing your other Family/ other Nation, you can get greed on comparison!

Immediately, you may want to change the bad situation of your Family members/ National people, and work hard for it!

Then, how can any one say that your are greedy?

You are afterall, working hard to provide some thing better to your fellow-beings AND AT THE SAME TIME NOT HURTING THE OTHER OPPOSITE FELLOW-BEINGS TOO!

SO, KNOW THAT, WHEN EVER YOU DO SOME THING FOR THE SAKE OF OTHERS WELFARE, IT IS NEVER GREED!

But, at the same time, suppose if you own several types of pen at your drawers and not willing to share any one, to your brothers and sisters at home, and to the worst case you go on grabbing this and that from your family in a more obsessed way, THAT IS CALLED GREEDYNESS!

GREEDYNESS IS ABSOLUTELY SELFISH IN NATURE, NEVER A LITTLE CONSIDERING THE FELLOW-BEING'S WELFARE!

There is only a mild line put in between Greed & Self-lessness! When you do some thing for the sake of other's welfare and not considering your self that is Self-lessness, but actually MOTIVATED BY YOUR SO-CALLED GREEDYNESS ON SEEING/ COMPARING THE OTHERS ONLY! If there is no such greed how come you work hard to promote your family/ National down-trodden situation?

SO, USE THE WEAPON "GREED", VERY SAFELY FOR THE WELFARE OF YOUR FAMILY/ YOUR NATION WITH MORE PRIDE!

Greed-when you want something that someone else has.(my own definition)

I think greed is bad because you want something of someone's which is wrong. Greed causes crimes and violence-killing people to steal something.

Money is the #1 greed because most thieves steal for money.

Greed is the force that drives capitalism. You can't have one without the other.

To say that greed is bad is to say that capitalism is bad.
