Will a wireless network adapter work with any broadband modem i have just changed from bt which had a router to a normal modem from ntl if i buy the official wireless network adapter for the 360 willl it work and how thanx

It should do. My 360 has a wireless connected and it linked in no worries. It's all driven from the menu system and fairly easy to do.

I would say, no. You need to have a wireless router in there too. Otherwise you will not recieve a wireless signal to the adapter.
