cant we do this to people? Something must be done to stop overpopulation from ruining our planet. There r so many people who would be better off if they were never born. Couldnt we do some kind of a germ warfare thing and invent a germ that would make people sterile? Besides, people who are sterile cant get pregnant, so they cant get an abortion. Can you think of a more effective way to stop abortions?

You have several questions here. I'll try to answer them in order.
The main reason people damage their pets genitals( fix or neuter) is supposebly to avoid overpopulation, and also to make the pet not a pet but a toy, as it is manipulated more easily ( since the animal's sexual organs are destroyed, and hormones kept to an unnatural minimum for life).
Society in America says is ok for her to decide her pet's right for progeny with this practice, as this is not done in the rest of the world.
We could indeed do this to people, but to what end? there is no human overpopulation, this is complete and utter nonsense, you could fit the entire world in an area the size of texas, with one person living per square mile, we are however, overly using natural resources, but this is due to human carelesness.
There are many people indeed who and doing more harm than good to the world, logically these people should not exist, morally if you decide that they have no right to live, i also can decide YOU have no right to live, as your rights end where mine start.
A germ would most likely be killed by a healthy human's inmune system, but a virus to make people sterile is theorically possible, sterile people would not be able to have babies, therefore preventing abortion, however it would also prevent babies being born. I am sure you wouldn't appreciate if your parents had gotten such a virus.
I can think of a more effective way to stop abortions. It's easy and it's called prevention. There are many anti-conceptive ways to avoid getting pregnant, and there's also abstinence. If people are not responsible enough to have sex without dealing with the consequences, that's a different matter.

Hey I think crack hos, men or women who refuse to pay their child support, and anyone who has had their children seized by CPS for abuse should be automatically sterilized, but it's never gonna happen. It comes down to who decides who is fit to have children, and where the line will be drawn.

Yes I wish we could nominate people who shouldn't have children for this lol. There are so many people out there who should not be near children let alone have them! Yet then there are some out there who would be great with them and cant have them. Isn't that ironic and sad!!!?
