The story is about this girl who goes in an old lady's house. And the old lady wants to eat her. I think the lady was called the babooshka or somethin'. And a cat and a dog gives the girl a mirror and a basket, so the girl can run away. And so the babooshka's house starts chasing after her and stuff. And no, I'm pretty certain the title isn't Howl's Moving Castle or Hansel and Grettel(FYI, i can't spell Grettel).

That's Baba Yaga.
Her house has chickens feet, and she's evil, chasing after the little girl who uses the mirror and the comb and whatever to make obstacles that the house has a hard time getting over and around.
Baba Yaga. Yep. But there are a whole lot of books about Baba Yaga, and I'm not sure which one you're looking for. Perhaps Babushka Baba Yaga and Vasilisa the Brave.
Baba Yaga is a Russian folktale, I believe, so there are quite a few books about her. Sorry I don't know exactly which one you mean.

That's the folk tale "Vasilissa the Beautiful". In that tale, the young girl of the title is sent to visit Baba Yaga on an errand and is enslaved by her, but the hag's servants — a cat, a dog, a gate and a tree — help Vasilissa to escape because she has been kind to them. In the end, Baba Yaga is turned into a crow.

The Lady of Wern is indeed correct. You should indeed award her 10 points. Baba Yaga is a witch who figures in many Russian stories. The house of Baba Yaga is called Ishbushka. The house stands on chicken legs. Baba Yaga chants, "Ishbushka let me in; with standing, my legs grow thin." The chicken legs bend, and Baba Yaga enters. Baba Yaga has a peg-legged cat named Stenka. She flies through the air in a large mortar and pestle. She stands in the mortar and steers with the pestle.
