I have twice. It was so embarrassing, but so funny too. The glass was so clean, I swear it was opened. It was in Hawaii during my honeymoon. I hit the door so hard, I landed on my butt on the hotel floor. My husband heard it, and came in. We laughed for hours over it. ~~~~

Yes. More than once. The first time, when I was little, I actually RAN into a glass door with my hands out in front of me and shredded my hands (not a serious injury, just a bunch of surface cuts that bled like crazy).
More recently, I walked into a very clean door with such force that it knocked me down. I was sober. Not too embarassing.

Yes I have... and not only once, I'm afraid to say... We had this huge windows in Knysna, South Africa where I worked in a clothing shop... it was always kept really clean and people used to walk into the windows often... I always felt so bad about it... there was this one man - I would say he was about 50, who walked into the window and his glasses flew from his face, he quickly picked them up and hastened out the door... we could actually see the outlines of every wrinkle on his face on the window. I felt REALLY bad about that incident!

Yes on holiday last year, I was really tired by the time we got to our hotel room, over 13 hours of travelling, I took my glasses off and threw them on the bed, as I'm short sighted I thought the patio door was open and walked smack bang into it and almost knocked myself out, still laugh about it now.

It wasn't glass. It was a screen door and it was nighttime. What happened you ask? Well...it came out of the frame as I busted through it like the hulk or something. It was able to be put back into place, but it was still embrassing. I honestly didn't see it.

Well, when I lived in a glass house, I would from time to time! No, I never have, but know someone who did and she has a very large scar on her arm from the experience. It happened when whe was ten years old and that scar helps tell her apart from her identical twin sister! Hope you are okay!

I think anybody who replies to this is bound to say yes. I was in a rush to the toilet and not happen to notice the very very (and just cleaned) clean glass door.

No, but I walked into a mirror thinking it was another area of a shop.
Oh, yes and my dog runs into the patio windows all the time, trying to get at the fictitious cats who are prowling outside.

No, but my X-hubby did.
He was pushing the baby in the stroller, and he backed into the door to open it.
It shattered into a million and one peices. I don't think Sears cared about the door, they were more afraid we would sue them because glass got on the stoller. BUT we didn't sue because everyone was fine & dandy without one scratch!
