If she really did this, which I don't know, I believe it would be to solicit advice on how to put a politically correct face on her faith. The anti-Christian climate in the US is growing rapidly. A very vocal minority, particularly the ACLU, People For The American Way, and other liberal organizations have launched a full scale attack on anything remotely Christian. Hillary would be responding to this so that her "faith" will not be offensive to the very people she is counting on to elect her, the liberal left.

What does the "radical left" have to do with Hilary Clinton? She's sure not one of them!

The left has not been tolerant of the "faith of President Bush?" The left has not been tolerant of HIS intolerance of anyone who doesn't believe exactly what he believes. The left could care less whether you speak in tongues or worship a rock - just don't use government to force your beliefs down anyone else's throat!

As to why Hilary would hire a "faith consultant," she's a very smart campaigner and knows that any viable candidate has to address issues important to this voting block. Hopefully, all people "of faith" aren't nutjobs like those in Colorado Springs, for instance. Luckily, there are still enough faithful who don't march in lockstep with with American religious terrorists who mistakenly call themselves Christians.

She's running for President now, so she has to figure out how to deal with the insane Christians.
