In N' Out burger! (SoCal and a few other locations in NV)
If you have read "Fast food nation" - the book is basically chapter upon chapter of how terrible the fast food industry is in every way (nutritionally, economically, socially, etc) and then the last chapter sums it up with examples of how a couple of places actually are great and don't do any of the bad stuff - and there is In N' Out! (and some place in Colorado.)
soooo good... everything fresh... fries that taste like fries... secret ways to order everything on the menu (fries animal style!) and really good shakes. Even grilled cheese for the vegetarians (secret not on the menu - get it w/both kinds of onions...)

Cook-Out of course or may-b Whataburger in Petersburg, VA they have the best hamburgers and milkshakes i really like the banana is the best or Bojangles oh no McDonald's or Burger King or Wendy's i don't know there are so many 2 chose from let's just say i luv them all :-)!!!!!!!

Mine is 'Dick's Drive-In' ... but you can eat there ONLY if you live in Seattle, because it is a 'local' thing, started here over 50 years ago, and it has the VERY BEST FOOD. The 'hamburgers' are made ONLY from FRESH beef (never 'frozen') and the fries are made from FRESH POTATOES that are cut in each store. Okay, so we may CALL it 'Dick's Ratburger' but that doesn't mean we don't eat ONLY there if we want 'good fast food' ...
