I dont think so.
In 30 yrs of watching football, ive said that Trent Dilfer was probably the worst QB ever to win a Super Bowl. But that was because of the Ravens' ferocious defense.
The pattern is very similar with the Bears, but their special teams are even better.
Dont get me wrong, i think the Bears suck, and im a bleeding New York Football Giants fan my whole life, and i still think the Colts are going to win. But i dont think the Bears are gonna lay down and just let it happen.
Should be a good game.
Oh yeah, youre right, Grossman might be the 2ND worst QB ever in a Super Bowl.

They are the better team. Rex Grossman is not a bad Quarterback, he is inconsistant. Although he had 5 games with a rating below 40 (most in the league) he also had 7 with a rating of over 100 (tied for second with Peyton Manning. When Rex is bad he is horrible, when he is good he is passable, when he is at his best he is as capable as any QB in the league. Any who compare Rex to Trent Dilfer forget how good he can be. Even with thise five games under 40 including one with a rating of 1.3 and one at 0.0 Rex finished the season with a 79.3 rating. That says that on the whole he DID get the job done.
The Colts aren't favored because of what they are on the field, they are favored because people WANT them to win.

absolutely. even banged up the bears D is highly superior to that of the colts. the bears special teams are better. there offenses are similar except at two points 1) the wr's are slightly better for indy and 2) comparing grossman to manning is like comparing a hyundai to an aston martin.
if you put tom brady, drew brees, or carson palmer on the bears, they would be a better team than the colts by 20 points.

Last time i checked Rex Grossman IS a real quarterback . but thats just me maybe im wrong , i mean his team is going to the Superbowl , bottom line is that all DA BEARS fans know what the outcome will be for this game like we knew what the outcome was for the other playoff games and we will DOMINATE AGAIN !!!

Probably not. The Bears do not have a very good team and that's why they are not the favorites. Having Peyton, Eli or any other good quarterback probably would not make a difference.

No, they do have a real quarterback. His name is Rex Grossman. They are not favored to win because Grossman is much better than people, like yourself who berate him, give him credit for being, but is not as good as Peyton Manning.

they are 8-0 when Grossman doesn't throw an interception. They don't really have a great receiving staff but still a good QB would hold their offense together much better and we've already seen the solidity of their defense.

real as opposed to a fake QB? I think Grossman is streaky but if he is "on" he can play well. He is capable if he stays calm and they don't have to rely on him to carry the team. They have to be able to run the ball and I'm sure they will be able to do that. Look how good Breez is and see what happened to him.

They have a real QB, what you mean is a consistent one. If they had a Drew Breese or Chad Pennington or Marc Bulger, I would have to think they would be 3 pt favorite

I think the AFC team would always be favored, given their dominance over the past several years.
