Never. We as humans have never been at a loss for good ideas of how to conduct ourselves to get along with others. We've had good advice from the earliest recorded history that we, in the main, consistently ignore. Sure, there are beacons of hope - people like Mother Teresa almost all the time, almost all the people (even Hitler) some of the time - but by and large we ignore the good advice. And this good advice is pretty similar no matter what religion you look at. People expect Christians to be unnerved at the idea that most religions teach mostly the same ethical behavior. However, since they're all addressed to humans, I'd be pretty surprised if they didn't! We're all just chickens here, as the saying goes.

In fact, that's one of the main points of C.S. Lewis's book "Mere Christianity" - that one of the strangest things about human beings is that, by and large, we agree on what is the Right thing to do, but, by and large, we don't do it. What we need is not more good advice, but a relationship with Somebody who can help us follow the advice we already know.

Human beings learn to get along when we start to to be conscious of who we really are. The true being , the soul, is peace, love, joy, pure and bliss. When we truly express our true being , we will treat each other as brothers/sisters in the most caring and loving way. We are human beings,we just have to experience to be in the being - peaceful, loveful, joyful, pure/truthful and blissful.

the fact that we are "human" is the very reason we'll never get along. only humans can be stubborn, religous, and political. we are just as terrertorial as any other animal. in fact, must human wars involve disputed terrirtory. sorry friend, but our inhumanity is what makes us human.

Actually it's human nature to fulfill all possibilities. In other words, we will be at peace, we will fight, we will have differences, we will have similarities, but all in all, what tends to happen by default, will keep happening.

Never, its not in our nature. We are too selfish to be able to put others first long enough for real stability and peace.
