Yes, they are two totally different companies. Never mind that they have the same logo, food, and advertising. It definitely has nothing to do with the fact that the stores still labeled Kentucky Fried Chicken were established before the KFC moniker was adopted.
Besides, Popeye's is better.

No. It's just that KFC is the abbreviation for Kentucky Fried Chicken. Kind of like how USA is the abbreviation for United States of America.

kentucky flavored chemicals . kan't find chicken , kemical filled chicken , kreated fake chicken . kentucky flailed corpses (kkk) , kitchen filled corpses , sobad , its finger eating good. made up from 11 preservatives and chemicals right here. we always use the col. orignal antibiotics for that good feeling. we use chicken from other countries that have no safe guidelines and are purposely tortured inhumanly for that meat to be tender and juicey. the col. would be proud of how we safety poison food. FYI , kentucky fried chicken , not kfc , was a combination of stuffing spices with dry bbq spices. i' ve seen the spices but not the names. i smelt the spices . i know the 10 of the eleven so called spices from the 1980's recipe. kentucky feared constipation... our chicken will make you get up and go..

They are exactly the same, some restaurants use the different logos. They are owned by YUM! Brands, who just happen to also own, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Long John Silvers, and A&W restaurants.

They are one and the same
I did hear that they changed the name to KFC because of the health issues raised by the word "fried". How true that is i have no idea.
