Having lost my father (who was an amazing person) 5 years back, I know where he is coming from.
Great song from a great singer. I was sad when he died also.

I'm exactly the same, especially near the end when he sings:
"I know I'm praying for much too much,
But can you bring back the only man she loved...." etc. etc.
My eyes are filling up just typing it!
I loved that man; cried so much when he passed away.
