I have been there, it sucks. Believe me. The worst thing to do is wear clothes that are too big, because they make you look bigger. Go to a store for bigger women, (not that you are big) just try on the smaller sizes because they are cut different then a regular store that is the same size. Especially in the breast area and tummy. Also, if you can, wear heels more, they make you look taller and even you out. Boot Cut pants help too. Good luck!!!

The first thing to do is change your attitude of how people perceive you. I am in the same boat and it may take some time for you to come to terms with it but ask yourself what is really more important being slim or being able to live your life because the medication allows you to.
Don't wear tight fitting clothes as they will emphasise any lumps and bumps you've got but on the other hand don't wear outsize clothes, as you will appear larger than you are. Loose fitting gear is probably best plus most comfy. Most importantly love yourself, regardless of your size, confidence is the best outfit for anyone to wear! Good Luck!

sorry to hear that, i know how it feels for ur weight to change quickly. all i can suggest is dont panic and go buying blacks and dark colours, people who gain weight tend to go straight for dark colour hoping to hide away in the background. colours like early tones suits sizes 16/18 soft browns, yellows and greens suit. also try showing off ur good points, whether its ur boobs, or legs, draw the eye to ur good area. I am a size 16 and i wear dark jeans and shirts usually in beige, and am told how slimming it is. Good luck and i hope that helps.

this happened to me when i started taking prozac. i stopped taking it because the weight gain was making me even more depressed. im not advising you to do that though. if it's bothering you, talk to you doctor and find out if there's any other medication you could take doesn't have weight gain as a side effect.
