I don't want to be mean or anything, but "i didnt leave behind all of my old and bad friends"? Bad friends? Did you skip over that part in the bible that tells you not to judge people?

Well, Its good that you found something to believe in and feel good about being a part of it.Too much of this world would rather imply misery onto others rather than sharing the feeling and power of belief.
I myself spent many years going to religious school and at the time hated it but learned plenty of things from it that have taken me plenty far in life.Especially when it comes to human nature and how to cope with others around us.I personally have found plenty of things in the bible that don't make sense and are very contradicting to say the least, but also understand that it has been altered by many over the years to try and fit to ones religion or belief. But either way Its idea and outline give hope and structure as to how to try and live to better yourself and be a positive member of society.

Well, a baby is full formed by 12 weeks so I'd be surprised if it didn't have a hand! I don't think it was reaching up to grab him though - it just happened to put it's hand through the incision. Still totally amazing to see. Edit: Just thinking though - isn't it amazing that they can do an operation whilst the child is still in the womb! I was wondering what happens with the amniotic sac though - do they sew it up again? What happens to the amniotic fluid??

I know, it is so amazing having a relationship with God. It's amazing how my life has changed, how I feel so different inside. I wish everyone knew what it was like. I remember before I started going to church or even when I did but didn't "feel" it I thought people who felt like us were wacko, now I wish everyone knew what it felt like. If they did they would WANT to go to church, they would WANT to be good, they would WANT to have the same relationship. It feels so amazing I just wish there was a way to spread the news without sounding like a weirdo! But I really am a new person

Good for you! I grew up in a church and while I'm not a fan of organized religion anymore, the morals and values I learned at a young age will definatly stay with me! Also, I love to pray and I'm glad you do too! Get involved! It's a great thing!

A change of pace on here I think. At least you know what you believe in. Far as your own friends, if they see what's good in your life now some will come around to see what they can have of it for themselves and some won't. You can't control that. But it is good that you encouraged them to join you.

i really liked your story... i don't go to the church very often, sometimes i go on sunday but not every week. i don't think it's necessary, the important is what you believe from your heart about god, and i tell you i really believe in god. but it's good to show it by going to church. once again nice true story...

if u feel that way than be it.
just make sure u dont end up fanatic about the whole thing and strt being too naive r irrational about thinds.
some ppl might find their self fullfilment in one God others might find it in another god and others might find it some place else.
goodluck with whatever u choose

As a good christian, why would any negative comments bother you? It may be amazing to you but don't bother us with this crap! This is a question and answer site not a bible thumping, oh I'm trying to hide the fact that I am worthless if someone doesn't agree with me site!

I don't have a story but...I love and believe in God, and it is encouraging to see others who are genuine believers. Never stop giving your testimony about Him. Kudos :)
