You are assuming that men ARE more more intelligent and able to lead better than women. That kind of argument is called a logical fallacy, similar to the, "How often do you beat your wife?" argument. You assume as fact something in your statement that hasn't been established as fact, though it may or may not be. It needs to be tested before you can include it in your question.

To answer the question itself:

1. Men and women lead in different ways, and in this country we are accustomed to the methods in which men lead. Anything else seems strange because we have not been exposed to it, but different isn't automatically lesser.

2. Intelligence can mean many different things.

Men aren't necessarily more compitent to lead. It has to do with strong laws and customs which have lasted for hundreds of years. In ancient times, the strongest warrior always lead the army to battle. Therefore, the strongest were always the leaders of a country, nation or tribe. Because men are naturally physically stronger than women (this is due to genentics), they are still leaders of modern society. So to sum it up, no, men have nothing that women don't when it comes to leading, it's just an unfair tradition that's lasted centuries.

What?
Actually, early human females developed intelligence so that they could organize tribes and hunting parties. They were the brains.
The men hunted.

But, anyway, what you're implying is not genetic. What is genetic is that men are intelligent in some aspects, like math and logical thinking, women are intelligent in the others, like language, organization, and creative thinking. It balances out in the end.

What are you trying to say by posting this in the LGBT section?

Men and women are generally equally intelligent and men are no better at leadership than women. The only reason you see more male leaders than female leaders is because men are physically stronger and more sexist than women and have kept their position of power for those reasons. It doesn't mean they are more able to lead, it just means they are unable/unwilling to let women lead them. Women haven't yet gotten much of a chance at leadership.

Men control by physical force, women control by psychological manipulation. Nowadays, in many cases men believe they are the leaders when they are really being subtly controlled by their wives, mothers and daughters.

No, its actually the women who LET the man think he is more intelligent and able to lead better. Something about a ego thing there that a man has to think he is more intelligent and can lead better or he pouts!!

Everyones the same ( sort of ) there's intelligent men and there's intelligent women. I consider myself to be quite smart but try to get me to lead and ill just fail miserably.

Loaded question. This means that, if we answer the question "yes" or "no," we implicitly agree that men are more intelligent and able to lead better.

Even if you show us that the highest IQ scores are usually men, I can show you that the lowest are as well. So I guess it evens out:)

It is genetics that men are more intelligent in some things (such as math and navigation) and better able to lead, yes.

However women are genetically more intelligent and capable in other areas.

They wind up being equal but different.
