the Violin . If some years later , for example 5 years , I start to play cello too , will my years of playing violin be any help to play the Cello?

Yes, of course. Much of the technique is similar and the musicianship you'll acuire from studying the violin will be directly applicable to cello. Too bad you can't start with the instrument you feel most drawn to, however.

Yes, it will 'help' although you will have to 'learn' to read the music 'differently' because Violin is a 'soprano' instrument and Cello is a 'tenor/bass' instrument, and you can 'see this' on the printed 'music' by the 'sign' at the left side where the music starts ... the sign tells you what 'clef' you're playing in. BUT, if you have the 'hands' to span a Violin ito 'change the note being played, it will be easier to 'train them' to also play the Cello, because you'll have been 'exercising and stretching them' in a 'similar way' ...
