I couldn't disagre more strongly.

I learned tons at college (very little in my schooling before that).

There are a lot of people in college who aren't there to learn, and they probably learn nothing.

But if you're interested in learning interesting things, you can learn a LOT.

While you learn to live on your own, I have learned so much more.

I've learned from the courses I have taken and everything, but the most I have learned is how to be myself. In high school you care so much about what people think of you, here it doesn't matter.

College is a great time, won't even lie.

No - While I had to take classes that I've taken every year of my life since 3rd grade (like general history), I've learned a lot about my chosen field of study. Once you get past all the general ed courses, college is actually worth it.

I think that it's 1 of the important things that you learn in college how to support yourself and not depending on other people to take care of you and you also learn to appreciate your parents because now you have an idea of what they went through.
but you also learn whatever you're learning in college.

it's true if you are one of those dumbasses that skips class all the time and doesn't study.

or if you think that something isn't worth learning unless you use it in your future career. (note: this is part of the downfall of the USA, in my opinion. People don't have a lust for learning anymore.)

I don't think that's true at all, but they do have certain numbers of required liberal arts courses that may or may not be related to your major, which I think is a waste of time if you know with you want to do with your life.

It depends on what college you go to and how much you put into it. That is where it comes from.

i learned that, the difference between there, they're, and their, how to stay drunk, stoned, and awake for six days straight, how to make a bong using nothing but water bottles, aquarium tubing, duct tape, and mint gum, how to talk several women into an orgy, how they treat genital warts and what it feels like, the Krebs Cycle, what happens to your professor if she is caught having sex with you, and how easy it is to write your dissertation on the evolution on porn. i miss college.

If that's all they learned in college, they must've spent more time partying than in the classroom.
