It depends on what application you are using. If you can provide this info then I can be more specific. In general using Microsoft Office 2003 or higher documents you can go to the "view" menu and choose what's best for you from there. Another option is to use bigger fonts if it's just for viewing purposes.
If you are using Internet Explorer go to "View and choose a Text Size that suits your purpose

well, the smart-aleck answer would be: use a magnifying glass!

But, I'll try to make some assumptions. You're either using Internet Explorer or MS Word.
In IE: try from the menu, View->Text Size: select larger size
In MS Word: From the menu, View->Zoom: select percentage that looks good.
