Why are people against him? He's not trying to kill everybody (opposed to Hitler, who's main goal was exactly that). The guy is doing his best. Give him a break!!! What would you do in his position and would it work? i mean come on. he's what we've got, we are one country and we need to support each other and stick together if we are ever going to succeed. Trashing Bush isn't going to do anything but create hostility between us. I will suport our president forever. why won't you?

no. i won't support anyone forever, he has a job to do. if he's doing it poorly, we have only ourselves to blame because we chose him. on the other side of the coin, supporting him is something we should only do if we think he's doing the right thing.

there are no breaks here, he started a war that we didn't have to enter. is that really something you can shrug your shoulders over? i can't, 30,000 of our soldiers have died because he wasn't straight with us when he took office. that is not a president i will support forever. he clearly doesn't think we can handle the truth and a democracy needs a leader, not a fuhrer.

those of you who say he is doing a good job at a tough time, he put himself in this position. this didn't all fall in his lap, he ran for office and started two wars we weren't fighting when he got there. it has nothing to do with hating him, it has everything to do with fearing for the future if he keeps making such spectacularly bad decisions. if we go to war with iran, will that be because of liberals? the president himself is the one who has refused to talk to tehran for years. what exactly was good about that idea?

I second that. There was unilateral support for going to Iraq and while Bush was the man in charge it was agreed to by most people both in politics and on the streets. I agree that there have been some mistakes made but I also agree that the purpose is good. If you look at any war (by any country) you will see that they never go as the planners think. D Day was a mess but because of the US military it was accomplished but not as planned. There is a big difference in this war and that is that the people here at home are not suffering the hardships that the civilians did in WWII so we have time to b--ch and whine. Remember that in WWII we did not know about the "Jewish Solution" prior to our invasion and D Day.

As for blaming Bush for lying about WMDs it is silly. Bush was not a part of the CIA, FBI, UN, or British intelligence agency or of the other 20 or so agencies that all said Saddam had WMDs. The same reports were sent to the Clinton whitehouse and many Dems and Republican alike thought action should be taken.

Thank you so much for saying this!!!!

It sickens me to see the disrespect that people have for our President. He was in office for 7 months when 9-11 happened and has been slashed ever since.

I admire him for standing his ground, no matter what people say about him.

So many think they can do better. Well, when the next President gets in, I can hardly wait to see what they are going to do about this war. It's going to be interesting and scary.

But you see, this is really what will happen. Whoever gets in office and they end this war and bring everyone home......"they" will be the hero. Then when we are attacked again.......it will be Bush's fault because of something he did or didn't do.

You just watch, I can bet ya that is what will happen!

It's an example of to little to late!! The war has been mismanaged by this Administration from the start!! It has only served to enrich certain have mores in this country!! Nobody knows that more than Mr. Bush and his Administration!! There are no winners in War!! >NEVER WAS NEVER WILL BE< They have kept eight(8) million people in poverty since 1997 by not raising the minimum wage! The increase they are proposing is $7.25 by 2010.The increase actually amounts to 17.6cents an hour for waiting for 12yrs to go from $5.15 in 1997 to $7.25 in 2010!

I realized at a young age that if a situation turns mean, the meannest person is going to win. Only the quiet, sweet people love Bush. Who do you think is going to listen?

Respect has to be earned, getting elected by people who are saying "Please keep us safe by taking our freedoms away" or appealing to people who are more concerned about stopping gay people from getting married than corruption in Congress or people without healthcare is NOT a way to earn that respect.

Bush and his cohorts lied to the American people to justify going to war and now we are in the middle of a civil war. Who do you recommend we hold accountable.? We, as Americans have the right to disagree with our President.

I voted for him twice and I'd vote for him again. I think he has done a hell of a job for all the situations he has been put in. As for supporting him...................democrats don't have a clue what bipartisanship means. Never have, never will!
