last year i gave this boy i fancy a christmas card but he doesnt usually talk to me anyway but sometimes we do he seems nervous around me, i mean if i say hi to him he just smiles and nodds his head, anyway when i gave him my christmas card he didnt come up to me and say thankyou he just smileed back at me, do you think hes shy or nervous around me or do you think he doesnt or hes not worth it?

Depends how he smiles
If it is a steady, straight and confident smile, it means 'thank you' in a non confronting way
If it's shaky, shy and nervous as you think it is, he likes you but he's shy. If so, try making the first move in a non confronting way to give him some security. (If this is so, beware he may start acting in ways you migh think is uncool or outof the ordinary).
