Depends on what you're looking for. Consider just a few of these questions:

Do you want absolute best possible cell coverage?
Who's your intended carrier?
Do you need it to play music? If so, what file formats?
Do you require business email? Does it need to do push email?
What about calendar, contacts, notes (i.e. PDA) capabilities? Do you require it to open, read and edit business documents (like spreadsheets and PDFs)?
What about size? Is function more important to you than form factor? Or do you want the smallest, coolest phone no matter what?
How important is battery life to you?
Do you need it to sync with your computer?
Does it need to have wireless web? 3G capability?

See, I could recommend a Blackberry device, an HTC Windows Mobile phone, the Motorola Krzr, the LG Shine or any number of newer model handsets depending how you answer the above.

The sony ericsson W810i is truly the best phone to beat comparing with Motorola's KRZR K3. Techs specs wise, I would go for the 810i anytime my friend. It's just awesome!!!

My BF and i have the Razr and it's definely a status symbol but we have tmobile and we always get dropped calls and sometimes the phone just do weird things like say low battery when it was cheging all night. Their not bad maybe its just our carrier. It hardly ever works in big buildings.

the motorola slvr l7 it is the best phone because i dont really like flip phones, i used to like the razr but now everybody in my community has it and now it is like garbage to me, so if anyone tells u to get the razr, dont because its too old now and everyone has it becasue it is very cheap now.
