How do ya score free kicks on fifa 2007?

Everytime i take em they dont seem to have any power! They must be a way of gettiin some spin & power on em without skyin em isnt there? Cheers

The best way I know how to score them on the xbox is to use the left trigger for low shots and hit them full power. Works best if you use a big shot hitter like Gerrard, Lampard, Scholes or Ronaldinho
