do you take it all and swallow?

or do you chew, or break up your pills when you have to take medicine?
I have to break mine up and put it in food i can't swallow i get that gagging sensation.

I once had a doctor tell me that the ears, nose and throat are connected, and that when you have trouble swallowing pills, you should plug an ear. I detest taking pills, as they often make me choke. I make sure I have something tasty to take it with (that isn't bad to take with medicine of course), then I plug my right ear when I swallow. Sounds strange, but for me, it works. Good luck with this one. I feel your pain!

I swallow the whole thing. Usually when I break it up, it gets all powdery. When it does that, it just gets disgusting (in my opinion). But hey, everyone has their own method for taking medicine.

continue to put it inur food but what i used to do when i was younger is fill my mouth with water slip the pill in and gulp the whole thing down shouldnt be hard...just swallow....i think gag reflex comes from thinking about it sooo much... relax!

WUSS! as a child at 13 i used to take i red multiple vitamin,3 vitamin c and 10 niacinimide all at once and even had to pull up water from a water fountain to swallow them with!

well try to drink water before u take it ya
then as u put it in your mouth drink a whole mouth full of water and swallow immediately after that take the whole glass of water and drink it in one gulp if u can

with advil I will break them in half with my teeth so they work faster, although it's harder on your stomach. That coating on the pills is what takes so long to dissolve, in order to be easier on the stomachs lining. But sometimes you just can't wait 2 hours(toothache!)
