I need a medical name.....? For crusty eyes in the morning Not just sand man stuff?
When I was a small child I would wake up every day for years with my eyes crusted over completely to where I could not open them at all! My mom used medicine some kind of cream for this... Now my little girl is starting this but only in one eye so far. she is only 7 months old... I now live in Sweden and the medical name I can not find in swedish to make it worse my mom pasted some years ago and I have no one to ask what that was and what medicine to use. I would like to do some research on this on the net but I need a name... if you can help it would be much appreciate!!!
ALOT of people are writting and saying this is PINK EYE BUT that does NOT last for years and my eyes were NEVER RED NOR IS MY DAUGHTERS!!!!

My girlfriends son had this same thing. You don't say how old your daughter is, but in the case of my friends child it was due to the tube (I don't know the medical term) that drains the stuff was blocked or semi blocked. Her son ,as it sounds like you did , grew out of it I beleive when he was around 6 or 7.
What her doctor told her to do was put warm wash cloths on the corner of his eye and on the side of his nose and to massage the corner of his eye to try and unclog it.

Shaggy, go to WebMD and on the left it says to check your symptoms. I typed in Crusty eyes. I think I had to go down and select eye drainage at some point and there it was. It wouldn't let me copy and paste sorry. Unless my mouse just suddenly broke. It does say that it is a form of pink eye.
