Hi there, I had a look at your previous question and am guessing it was the reply from purplesneakers that your talking about. I don't think your question was racist and by the looks of it neither did anyone else apart from purplesneakers. I wouldnt worry what about what she thinks, did you see her question? Bit of a fruit if you ask me!! Go an have a look then you wont care about her reply! lol xx

I had a South African White living in our shared house with Black Africans. Great guy got on well with everyone and was well liked by everyone.
Went on holiday To Turkey recentley and meet White South african mother and Daughter- Had a great laugh nice and polite and were not racist to me or my black african wife.
Went to Jo'burg before I was married.
Big problem between Black South Africans and other Black Africans from other countries ie Killing each other and forcing other Blacks to leave S.A.

Not really interested in taking you on or going on a fact-finding mission from your first question. But it's a weird question that might push buttons. You're insinuating that a group of people are all alike and should be liked or disliked as a single group. If you ask other countries, "Do you like Americans?" and they answer, "No! They're war mongers! They're loud! They're obsessed with their looks" I wouldn't want to be put in that category...because I'm none of those things. You can like a South African and hate his next door neighbor. People are people.

I have found S African people to be delightful, but then if yo are an american then you probably have a very limited view of who S African people are or the people who accused you of being a racist have a very limied concept of who S Africans are.

Lived there for 18 years, some good, some bad, the same as any other place, don't think your question gives an indication as to whether or not you are racist, just tells me you are curious, no harm there.

Oh dear - not the whole "you asked a question about people from another country therefore you must be racist" thing?

What a load of rubbish. They can't prove nothing!
