I want to know! Because im having this Valentine day special lesson and i want to know the history Behind it.

And where did you "read" this? Everything and everybody just HAS to be gay. I guess it gives a sense of false security/validation... St. Valentine's Day has nothing to do with being gay, neither was he homosexual.

Saint Valentine's Day or Valentine's Day falls on February 14. It is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other; sending Valentine's cards and candy, often anonymously. The truth behind it, and its position in the year is that in the Middle ages, and tudor times, people only had one bath a year, in early february, i dont know why, and a romantic holiday was made shortly after that time so that people would be less smelly, and more attractive after the opposite sex, but the americans have taken a little tradition of a saint, and turned it into what we have today of buying cards and chocolate, but that is where the root of it comes from
