Maybe I'm just paranoid about my privacy, but are AOL IM chats and chat room conversations saved somewhere in my network? I am a college student and use the college network. I'm worried that network administrators could have access to my chat room and aol conversations...anyone know anything about this?

check in your "my received files" more often than not that is the default area of where they are saved if they are.

Look under help in your messageing software. There is an option in there that can be clicked or either end yours or the person you are talking to and it will save the conversation. You have to trust who you speak to because they can also save the conversation. It can be done, but by default it is usually turned off, look under archieve or saved coversations in help. Take care Heather

look in your AIM options and check if your convo archiving is enabled. I don't use AIM so I wouldn't know exactly where it is but just look around and you should find that or something similar
