You are probably much too brilliant to waste your time here on Yahoo Q & A. You should probably try out for Jeopardy. Good luck to you, genius!

There's no single answer to that question, but ONE answer would be laziness. People often just don't even try to think things out or do the minimal research themselves or even just type the issue into google and hit enter. They would rather have someone else answer their question, solve their problem, address their issue, etc.
The questions are simple and obvious because the posters don't want to do the work of actually thinking about the question and the possible answer before they post.

The answers to most questions are simple especially when you consider two things.
1. You're on the outside looking in. You see the forest, not the three trees that block your view.
2. You don't have to live with the consequences of implementing your suggested course of action.
You could add a third if you really wanted to. You are anonymous.

Sometimes. But then, there can be the complexity's of translating of what I read into something that might make sense ~ give or take a guess or two as to the context the write might likely be meaning.
But then again, it can irk me and I give up 'trying' ~ don't have the patience for offering variable answers to various contexts, and I go look for something better to answer ...or make a cuppa tea.

Basically what's simple and obvious differs from person to person, something I think is simple you may find difficult and vice versa. If you know an answer share it, after all that's why we're all here.

I find a lot of questions simple and abvious, too. I think a lot of askers are very young and inexperienced or else lonely and just looking to communicate with someone.

Maybe you are missing the meaning of the questions? Questions are what YOU make them, think about things more ;)

I agree entirely. I come on this site hoping for some intelligent questions, from intelligent people. Time to perhaps separate the wheat from the chaff, as the saying goes.

I think people are bored and ask the first question that comes into their head.

I don't know why you do.... I certainly do not. I just rejected quite a few as questions I could (or would) not answer ...and I would not call you any of those things... it is not my nature to do so!
