What make is it?
Does it work well?
Has anyone else found something better than an iTrip unit?

(Don't tell me about AUX inputs into the back of the headunit cos I don't have that! I also don't have an Alpine Headunit with iPod adaptor and can't install one - it's not my car to mess with!)

I used an itrip for awhile and i will never go back. the quality was horrible, and there was static all the time. just remember that even if you have cd quality on your ipod, the best you'll hear with an fm transmitter such as the itrip, is fm quality music.

if you have a cassette player, get the adapter for that. it's much better. if not, there are devices called aux-input converters that plug into an open port on your factory stereo and gives you aux-in! check it out.

I got one for my honda and it's wonderful. really easy, do-it-yourself 15 minute install too.

It works by transmitting a radio signal that you tune the headunit into.
I've not got one, but have heard bad things if you live in a city with pirate radio bleeding over etc.

I use one of those naff cassettes with the wire coming out for my MP3 player, but if you have a CD player it might be your only choice

I have one and its brilliant! You get a really clear sound. The only down side is that it drains the battery, so get one with a 12volt lighter charger! Mine is made by Griffin.
