We heard a speech of a politician who dodged issues and promised promises without substance, given to a bunch of politicians who can't say the time of day without taking a poll. Everybody deserved a glass of water tossed at their heads. This country has enormous needs that are not being met while we're wasting billions trying to solve a divorce dispute overseas. Makes no sense. I'd like to hear SPECIFIC proposals to deal with health care, infrastructure, tax code, corporate misdeeds, government corruption, political dirty-fighting and a host of other ailments that deserve more attention than they're getting. If Peolosi can get Congress to seriously address these issues, I'll personally hand her a glass of water on a silver platter. If Bush would address these issues I'd do the same for him. Until I see them both address the serious domestic issues that have been so far ignored, I'll gladly throw water balloons at both.

Bush and Cheney were just being their usual robot-selves when they gaily sipped together.

Had they tossed their water, Nancy'd kick their @sses in a heartbeat....and then three-quarters of the room would be flattening the remaining quarter.

You were saying.........?

No, I was hoping she would throw into their face. Once again she took that job away from Hasert and she will KEEP that job as long as she wants. You lost everything and you'll keep losing , wake up the Democrats are in charge. She sure better than that a blimp Hasert sitting up there, Republicans are a bunch losers.

The way she was blinking throughout the speech, she looked like someone had already done that...although it might have been Morse code to tell the Libs when to stand and applaud...and when not to.

I wish they would have, but then the Dems would actually have something to impeach with. It would be assault. Throwing cake or liquids at someone is assault in most states. But maybe not in DC. Clinton did throw liquid on Monica's dress and wasn't arrested.

It might have made her stop blinking!!!!! If she blinked any faster she would have lifted right off of her chair!!!!! They say there is some kind of "body language" about what it means when a person does excessive blinking, and it wasn't good. She sure qualified!!

I was wishing for someone to help her get that morsel of food out of her teeth --- she kept wetting her lips and moving her tongue around her mouth and then pursing her lips as if she was ready for her close-up.

Well considering that she is smarter than Bush, he is probably feeling pretty intimidated by now.
