Red dresses, pink dresses, white dresses, sexy dresses and romantic dresses are always hot for Valentine's Day dresses.

But it depends how 'formal' it is. If it's formal go for one of the above but if it's sort of in between you could go in a funky red bodice and jeans/black trousers. That always works....

Good luck!

I would choose to wear a dress that is not too over the top. It is an important dance, but your shouldnt wear like a gown. I think you should wear a dress that is about a knee length. I think a frilly looking dress would be cute too. If you want to show cleavage, dont show too much- unclassy for a formal dance. Good Luck

I was at the Deb with my younger sister (age 11), helping her find a white formal for an upcoming church event, and I saw the cutest dress: it was white with red polkadots, wide halter neck, and a slightly flared skirt (couldn't tell how long it was, looked to be somewhere in the vicinity of knee length). Very old-school classy chic. Something like that might work.

i might want to say to pass with like, vivid vivid pink. unlike obnoxious pink, yet an exceedingly lipstick variety of pink, y'understand? it is going to likely be truly extremely. i might want to positioned on matte pink lipstick with it - ahh, that could want to be beautiful. yet in any case, you may want to be ready to discover some cool ones at shops(macy's, bloomingdales, etc.) or basically take a walk by potential of the mall and pass to any dress save that seems interesting. always works for me! sturdy success and performance relaxing on the dance! :]]

I think the dress should be red, pink, or white.
