Amen another intrepid soul out there who gets it. Yeah what a mess if the Democrats had been in power then we would still be having investigations into what WE did to provoke the tragedy and the Taliban would still be in power with Osama Bin Laden still fat and happy in Afghanistan instead of sleeping on the cold hard stone floor of a cave Somewhere in the wilderness of Pakistan freaked out about when its going to end for him. Say what you will about G W Bush (and believe me the liberals have) but he is a man of action and actually had the cajhones to do something about it instead of just stand there and wring his hands and lament how terrible, how terrible , how terrible paralyzed by the actual eventuality of violence that surely must come as a consequence of the terrorists actions. God bless that man for being there for all of us as a nation when we needed him. God help all of us when the elections are once again upon us and the liberal media has ramped up their legions for the Dem's I wont forget and vote for another Joke like Clinton or even worse Kerry or worse still some one in the vein of Carter no no no no I wont forget will you?

How do you like someone who is destroying America's hard-earned reputation as a supporter of democracy and human rights? Almost every international election during Bush's term has been affected by a rise in anti-American (and sometimes anti-Western) sentiment. Explain the rise of Chavez, Hamas, Ahmadinejad or the fall of Berlusconi, or the close elections in Mexico. Explain the resurgence of the Taliban. BBC polls have shown that even in the past 2 years, the U.S.'s support in the world has eroded significantly.
Sure, you can claim that it doesn't matter, that we need a strong leader who does the right thing. The 'right thing' turns into nothing if you don't have people supporting you and believing in you. An 'intervention' like Iraq only works when the invaders are there to truly help, and when they come in with an international mandate. Otherwise, it looks like bullying. The 'coalition' in Iraq right now is the U.S., Britain, and a bunch of less powerful countries kissing up to the U.S (because they need the economic ties). It does not look like a mission to effect political change and democracy. That's why Iraqis will never trust Americans. That's also why Al-Maliki, who is a former supporter of militant al-Sadr was elected Iraqi PM and that is why he has been reluctant (until recently) to work with Bush.

I like Bush. He is man who stands by his morals and priciples. He choses people whom he trusts into office which isn't a bad thing though not the smartest thing. The economy has grown 3.25% which is on track. Our intelligence services has been restored which is great. He hand 9/11 very well in terms of coming on national television and telling all Americans not to go after people just because of the ethinicity which is good. Over all I think that history will see Bush as a medicore/slightly above average president.

Oil companies, as well as various other rich and/or undereducated people.
_______________
Heh. Um, I said absolutely nothing about _why_ we're in Iraq. In fact, I said nothing about Iraq at all. But the reason we're in Iraq sure isn't because of terrorism. (That's in Afghanistan, if you'll remember.) Oil companies and big business love Bush regardless of whether or not we're fighting in Iraq's oil fields, which we of course are not. And it's nice to hear someone has such sick comments to make about "lying down in missle-testing ranges." Wow.

Sometimes I wonder if I still like him or not. Then I remember he kept Al Gore and John Kerry out of office. Then I REALLY like him.

Even if he is a good president- I don't think he's a good person. He speaks mindlessly sometimes. He whines. He says stupid things to people.
