I think it depends on the time of year, mate. In summer, when I am at my leanest, I like to attract the ladies with my Marks and Sparks Cardigan, but in winter (and particularly just after Christmas) I like to wear the string vest so that my flaccid belly can be seen by one and all, dangling, over my baggy trousers.
You wouldn't be surprised, I know, at just how much this attracts the ladies...

When the vest is out over the cardy has never appealed to me. It has to be one or the other as long as he is wearing nothing else that is!!
