I could never have won the case in court. I didn't hurt him physically because I could never do that. But I did manage to make him mad. It felt really good to see the emotions reversed.

I don't know if this is illegal in your state... But, 17 years ago is wasn't in mine. The police told me to put a flyer up on every telephone pole I could in my town with his picture on it saying "Beware, this man raped me!"
It wasn't shortly after that he skipped town. I would have never won in court just like you said. But, I made it KNOWN he was a rapist!
Good for you on getting even! Best of luck to you.

Yes it was wrong what you did. Until you have had the case tried in a court of law, you never know if it would have had put him in jail for his crime . Have you ever heard the addage,"Two wrongs don't make a right?". Well they don't; and because you most likely didnot report your "rape" or take it to trial , it will most likely happen to another innocent person because you felt that revenge was the only solution.

Right and wrong is what separates the citizens from the criminals of this world and by taking revenge and not seeking legal justice, you have lowered yourself to his level. Without our legal system, our society would deteriorate into nothing more than vigilantes roaming the streets who feel justified in the destruction or the suffering of others for every major or minor infraction inflicted upon them.

If you have been raped, I would highly suggest that you seek professional counseling to take care for your emotional and mental trauma.

You took control of your life back. That's good. And if the only thing you did was make him mad and didn't do anything illegal then I say good for you.

Emotion is what the rapist is after, fear or disbelief. Getting an emotion out of your rapist could have gotten you hurt, but I for one applaud you for it. You go girl!

So what happened? Did you go out with him, have too much to drink, start making out with him and then yell "rape" when you decided you didn't want to cheat on your boyfriend? Damn, I can't stand to hear people talk about "date rape"....there's no such thing!

revenge?
You know that is illegal. Laws have been written to help this situation. Laws should be observed, served and weighed.

Hells no...I myself would have done alot worse to him if it had been me in your place. It was totally okay, he should feel ashamed for what he did.
