Yes always to both. It is so gross to be in a public restroom, especially at a restaurant and see someone walk right out of the restroom without washing her hands. These are the people that get a large majority of the rest of us sick.

Most definitely!!
I mean it is just the right thing to do. People seem to forget what they were taught - if they were taught to do that.
There are so many harmful germs that can be passed around from people not washing their hands when they use the bathroom.
Especially in a public restroom I always wash my hands and leave the water running until after I have dried my hands and then I turn off the faucet with the towel and open the door with it as well.

I wash my hands every time after using a public restroom. I probably only do it half the time when I'm at home. I always flush in a public restroom. If I'm at home, I don't flush every time after I pee. Maybe every 2-3 times. If it's '#2' I flush right away!!

Not if there aren't paper towels to dry my hand off thoroughly with. I hate blow dryers. If there isn't one I usually use antibactirial lotion when I'm done. And I always flush. Some people aren't patient enough to hold the dang handle down long enough, so they "flush" but nothing goes down!

wow, that's so nasty. i was in the bathroom at work one day. there was someone already in one of the stalls. it was obvious she was taking a dump from the loud wet farts that kept coming out of her stall. when she finally finished she flushed the toliet which by the way sounded like it was clogged up and simply left the bathroom. yeah, not even a rinse. omg, so gross. yes there are people in the world like that. i know people that change their tampons and not wash their hands when they are done.

I wash. I also flush with my foot, and always use a paper towel to open the door when exiting.

I work in a middle school, I wash my hands before AND after I use the restroom, kids are nasty.
