No matter how well the job has been explained,
you can't know how it really will be, until you are
working there. Sometimes one day is enough.
Unless you are really being abused in some way ,
or are just feeling physically ill from it...I would try
and give it at least two weeks. It looks better on
your job record, than I quit every other day. It is
easier to give an explanation as to why you quit
after only two weeks, than after one day.

I've talked with prospective employers and after they interviewed me then I interviewed them. If I didn't like their response I told them so and walked out. I've also worked for an employer for 2 hours and walked out, and one when after I saw where I was going to work I rejected it.
You can leave when you want. It's best to say goodbye to either a supervisor or manager saying that particular job isn't what you thought it would be. Once I left a note for the supervisor and her desk was so full of junk that it took her a couple of months to find, and that was a bad scene because since I walked off the job she sent the police to the apartment complex where I was living to see that I had arrived there ok, (that supervisor said she thought since I left her no message that maybe I got hit by a car or something) it was so embarassing.
So the answer to you is: let them know you are not happy and are leaving. You have a choice just as they have a choice.
Just don't list them on your resume.

I personally don't enjoy quiting, but the first impression is the last and maybe the only. You can get a good feel from most people within 3 days.

Get a area-time evening activity and help in the direction of the funds. till you're making minimum salary - you are able to locate the money for daycare. you only could detect a competent one that is low-priced. they are obtainable. I placed my female in daycare at 6 weeks old. i've got been a working mom for 11 years now and volunteer my time for scouting too and be able to look after the kin. you're able to do it too... i think of your husband needs to have a job only before quitting his contemporary one and a plan for a thank you to downsize the kin funds while he's taking his pay decrease. Ask to hearken to his plan...

What is your reason for wanting to quit?
If you think its not challenging, get bored easily... wait it out. They are getting used to you and don't want to throw too much work your way without knowing if you can handle it.
If your reason is that it is too difficult, try talking to the manager. Explain that you dont have as much experience in the subject as your co-workers do. If that doesn't work, then quit it. No point doing something that is stressing you out.

If you truly hate the work, or working conditions, go ahead and quit. Ultimately the choice is yours. You know yourself better than anyone else!
