so what should i do ? i mean im 20 weeks so they will be looking for the sex. i can't wait. what do i do to make sure that they will be able to see if we are having a boy or a girl. and i have two boys is it wrong for me to really want a girl. ?

It's not wrong to wish for a daughter!! I do have to tell you that I have 4 boys and when I found out that the 3rd was a boy I lost it. I went out to my car and bawled like a baby. Then when I saw him for the first time and held him, I understood that no matter his gender, he was perfect and I was in love!!!
With my 4th, I just wanted a baby and didn't really care boy or girl. Good thing too because it seems like i've got a football team in the works here.

Drink the OJ....and if baby is stubborn - ask the tech if you can use the bathroom...that often makes the baby change positions.
It is not wrong to want a girl...and finding out the gender is a good thing. If they say boy today - you might feel disappointed...but you will have the whole rest of the pregnancy to get excited about a new little guy.
I have 2 girls and #3 was a boy...so I am hoping you get your girl. But, honestly, I didn't care what I go - so long as he was healthy. He was born with Erb's Palsy - but he has a clean bill of health now.

YOu can tell the sex of the baby at 16 weeks, if they are in a good position. Also, don't forget todrink plenty fluids and not use the restroom. They will look at the size, to make sure you're due date is correct. Any abnormalties. They look at all kinds of things, like the size of the brain and the heart. They also look at the amount of amnitotic fluid you have. They might not tell you everything they are looking at, but you are able to ask whatever questions you may have during the procedure. The best, you get a picture of your baby to take home.

I wish you the very best of luck. Hope everything is great! No it is not wrong to want a girl, I did. I have two girls now. They should be able to see what sex the baby is, as long as he/she is in the right position. You've been through this before, you know the deal, no matter what you find out your having, you will be happy either way. Good Luck to you and your baby!

Nothing wrong with that but if you do get a boy just love him just the same. I really really really (Did I say really?) wanted a boy and I had a girl instead but I wouldnt give her back for anything. She is great!
Make sure you drink the fluids they asked you to do or they won't be able to tell

You are soooooooooo lucky! I have to wait another week for mine and I'm already 22 weeks along! I too want a girl, but I'm pretty sure I'm having a boy; it's not wrong b/c you will love your child anyway. They will probably be able to see the baby. Eat something sugary so he/she moves around a lot and make sure your bladder is full.

no it fine to want a different sex i hope it's a girl for you i am Spanish and my family say you should drink lots of water before you go in it help see the baby better i have no idea if it rue or not i did it with my pregnancy but i think it just a wise tale but i don';t hurt to try it and congrats on the new baby

They told me to drink 36ozs of water and not to use the bathroom.Iguess the full bladder pushes the baby so that you can see it.Congratulations!It is very exciting.I to am 32 wks along and I will never forget the day I went for my 20 wk ultrasound.Congrats and good luck!!!
