Valentine's color fool

Lovers meet openly, yet secretly from their parents and families. Valentine's Day is no better. Lovers can be spotted wandering on the road in cars. Some groups of boys patrol the road simply to offer any passing girl a rose. Flowers get so expensive that a single rose bud may cost up to Rs. 25. Go to a restaurant or a hotel and you will find yourself amidst a flood of red. The previous year, a colleague of mine went to Village (a restaurant in Lahore frequented by the elite) and almost all women (even above thirty-five years of age) were wearing RED. A vague story that goes round aligns the colors of Valentine's Day with traffic lights. Girls and women who are immersed into this tradition mostly wear red, a sign of love and passion, also indicating that they have a valentine. To wear yellow/amber would mean that she is waiting to be hooked while a green dress denotes that she has no valentine and has no intentions to fall for one. As a contrast, hardly anybody dresses up even in red in the West. It seems as if Valentine's Day is more venerated in Pakistan than in its hometown.

Try something different. Try a nice mahogany or dark cocoa colored pants with a button down pale pink shirt. Or skirt or blouse whichever the case may be. These colors work beautiful together....be sure your pink is a warm pink and not cool...some pinks have a somewhat blue undertone to them. But the warms ones have a sort of creamy glow. The browns go especially well with blonde's, brunettes and redheads....If you have black hair I recommend the black and pink. A warm pink eye shadow will work nice with this as well.
