If they are going to do a background check on you, then just be honest. If not, then I would not offer that information up right away.

I don't think you have to tell them if you were arrested. If you were convicted of a felony and the employment application asks that, you do have to reveal it, but I wouldn't just bring up an arrest in the interview.

If they ask or if it is a written question on the application, you should answer yes according to the question. They usually ask if it is a felony conviction.
You should answer yes and they should not hold that against you depending on the type of work.

depends on what is was for and whether you were found guilty or not, as well as nature of job. Most likely any application form will ask this question-absolutely answer honestly

Most companies now do background checks, they will find out during the check. Tell them if you feel you must.

Yes...chances are they will find out anyway if they do a background check...better to be up front and honest. That way, they won't have that to hold against you later.
