It will end at the second coming of Jesus Christ. Jesus will return to Earth to take home all those who are waiting for Him. All the hosts of Heaven will be with Him, the number of Holy Angels are uncountable. The dead in Christ will rise first, then the rest will be caught up in the air to meet Him.
The Earth will then be destroyed with fire ...kinds of scary huh ?
Yes it will be our fault. Mankind will do something to cause God to put a stop to what ever they are doing.
Fun Question, thanks.

well, i just read an article that when the sun moves into it's red orbital stage, that it will pull the earth closer and closer, until, you guessed it, earth will be no more. now, i am a christian, therefore have some of the beliefs, but i chose to interpret them differently than most in my religion. in revelations it says something about the moon turning blood red, now that article got me thinking. but it's not supposed to happen for a very long time. also as the earth moves closer to the sun, the orbit will slow down, so that half the year will be in sunlight and half the year will be in darkness (yikes!) this again coincides with revelations, where it will be constant darkness.
i also haven't ruled out the interpretation of revelations being that the world will end in nuclear warfare-as everything around turns a weird red orange color-that may be how the world will end.
as far as Jesus coming the way most christians believe and that ending the world, i don't see it as that. the whole "gone in a blink of an eye" thing to me, simply means that you could die at any moment. you could, individually, be gone, in a blink of an eye.
oh yeah, and the mayans predicted that the year 2012 will be the end of the world. that's pretty soon, which is freaky, because they were able to predict to the day when their culture came to an end. hmmm....

It could be 28 minutes from now or 280 years from now. It takes a russian ICBM to reach continental US targets less than 30 minutes to reach its targets.
You hear about the nukes that Iran or NorKor may use, but the real bulls in the glass shop are the nuclear arsenals of Russia and the US. Their arsenals can obliterate a million Hiroshimas, but there's less than 3,000 cities greater than 100,000. And the number of military installation is relatively small.
A mere 100 megatons will initiate global impact winter. Will we have a nuclear war in the near future? Probably not, but we've come mighty close on more than one occasion. The last close call was in 1995 when the Russian 'suitcase' holding the launch codes was activated for the first time in history because of a scientific launch by Norway that the Russians mistook for an attack on them. .....and that was POST-Cold War.
The aging Russian command and control systems and their aging early warning systems should be our greatest concern.....anyway that's all.

I have good news and bad news. First, the good news: the physical world will NOT come to an end.
Now, the "bad" news: This worldly system of things WILL come to an end, possibly in our lifetimes. And, yes, in a sense, it will have been mankind's fault, because we are a "fallen" (Imperfect) race.
Bonus good news: God's Son has provided us the escape route; it's through a relationship with Him. Check it out: the gospel of John is a very good place to start.

Yes, it will be our fault. The wars we will have in the future on scales larger than the ones we've had will probably bring the end of the world. We will destroy ourselves with weapons of mass destruction.

April 27, 2049 at 2:48 p.m. And no, it will not be our fault. Blame the Great Ostrich Uprising of 2032. Lazy freeloaders...

this world for you will end when you pass on, to something else, or when you mentally totally withdraw from it,,,,, as to fault,,,,, i doubt if placing blame will be our utmost concern then, the end of one things is always a new beginning of another

One fine day, more sooner than later. I dont think it will be human fault. We have have technology enough to extinguish ourselves, but not enough power to destroy planet Earth. I think it is going to be a collision with another star and the whole thing turns into meteoric dust.

The world will not end. It is going to get worse in many ways but it will not end. God will intervene. Hope you know God, Honey.
