My fiance and I are getting married out of the country in March and are looking for a location for our at home reception. We only expect around 125 guests, and would like to keep costs relatively low. We don't mind doing the drinks and food ourselves (with family's help) and have something fairly casual in mind. Does anyone have any ideas?

There is a really nice reception hall located off hwy 249 past Willow Brook Mall, I can't remember the name , but if you look up receptions and see one in this area try it , My daughters friend used them any they were very resonable she said, and I thought it was extra nice, Also their is one located on Hwy 249 @ Bammel North Houston, I don't know the price , but it looks nice from the outside.. There is also one on Airline Dr. Now It looks large enough for your list , but I don't know how nice..
If I get the exact name from her, on the one she used I will revise my answer ..

Hope This Helps Some

Good Luck

I've been to a lot of Houston weddings at some very low-rent halls. You should definately call the local lodges in your area (Sokol, SPJST, come to mind) to get some numbers; but I'd suggest you add to your question what area of town you want to be in and if you're really ready to settle for the likes of a metal warehouse for your reception.

I would try different recreation centres in your area. Also, many small churches are willing to rent out their basements for occasions like that. Also if there is a local moose lodge or masonic hall or polish hall they all rent out premises for fairly low cost. A bonus of renting out a church hall or church basement is that often the church ladies are willing to do the catering for a little extra money. My husband and I used a church basement and the whole thing including food for 100 people cost $1500.00

and that i might like a loose Mercedes Benz! heavily, in case you like one, shop your funds and get one, in basic terms like everybody else has to do. Yorkies are no longer loose or low-priced for a reason. Breeders have expenditures to cover--registration expenditures, whelping and grooming factors, vet expenses, scientific finding out, vaccinations, nutrition, etc. No breeder is going to cut back nook in order that which you've gotten a loose dogs, no rely how badly you like one. if your funds are constrained, examine with rescues or shelters somewhat of attempting to locate a hand out. in addition to, in case you have been searching for months, then rather by way of now you will possibly have chanced on that there is not any such component as a "teacup." that's a merchandising ploy used by way of unethical breeders. i might propose that until eventually now you actively attempt to get carry of a dogs of any form, you a minimum of take it sluggish to learn and teach your self on the breed first. that's going to purely earnings you contained in the long-term and provides you with something to do once you're saving your funds.
