Would like to get a miniature version of my sweeties tattoo...He's military and has a werewolf/moon on his left shoulder...I would like to get a smaller version somewhere on my body...Maybe lower back or in back of my neck? Is this a cheesey idea or cool?

If you're really sure about it, and I'm talking 110%, then it's a nice idea. Lower back is best. Think ahead to many years from now, when you're a little old lady, short hair....and werewolf on the back of your neck for all to see !

It depends on what your objectives are. If you desire to show the lower back tattoo, know that it usually has a certain connotation to the opposite sex due to its placement and its correlation with certain kinds of women. If you get it on your neck, and don't have hair to cover it, at least you'll know not to apply for any serious corporate job. But if you don't show it, do what you want!

Before anybody gets a tattoo they should look at a person who is over 70 who got a tattoo when they were in their teens or twenty's. See how it looks...when the skin has lost its flexibility and wrinkles have set in. Getting rid of tattoos is tough and painful. But that's my personal prejudice speaking. If it blows your whistle, go for it.

Don't do it.I have 12 tattoos and I regret most of them.I got sweetie tattoo's and then we broke up and now I'm left with these constant reminders.Think very carefully before you do it.And don't get a name whatever you do.

I dont think you should get one just like his...you should change it up a little. Yes, it will always be a reminder of him but then if it isn't just like his then it will be your own creation! Instead of a werewolf, how about fangs or a claw? And please don't put it on your back...I think that's kinda tacky for a girl, just my opinion. Tats on your hips are cute and also below your belly button to the side...that's where mine is!

I think tattoos are cool,but I believe girls hould have more subtle,feminine ones.Also because of some jobs,it probably should be where you can easily cover it up with clothing.I say go for it.

If you do, make sure the place is 'clean.' I've heard of people getting AIDS from a tatoo. Also, I work around older people-never seen a tatoo that looks good. Just my opinion.

Just remember it's permanent and if you and your boyfriend don't stay together, it could be a sad reminder.
However, beware that once you get a tat, you will want more!!

Just keep in mind that he may not be your sweetie forever and the tattoo would always be a reminder of him. Find something original that you like just for yourself. Then go for it. (if you are of age, that is.)

If you aren't 100% sure, don't do it.
Personally, I wouldn't want a design someone else had. Mine took me over a year to design but no one else has it and no one ever will.
